When putting several versions of a document in the same folder I use YYYY-MM-DD because that way it sorts them chronologically.

Just thought I'd share that.
That's what I use as well.

Actually here in Sweden they write the date YY/MM/DD, so after the century turned to 00's it's pretty difficult to sifer the "best before" dates on groceries, depending where they're from. So today could be 070210 (Sweden), 021007 (US) or 100207 (rest of the world)....

seriously though, mm/dd/yyyy is way better. for one it makes sense here in america at least because we say "february 9th" and not "9th of february". it wouldn't make sense for us to say "february 9th" but write it 9/2/07

and also, it makes much more sense if you're trying to sort dates in ascending order.

for example, with month/day/year, a list of dates in chronological order will look like this

1/15/07
3/23/07
5/12/07
6/2/07
6/8/07
9/3/07

looking at the first number in the date, you have a better idea of where exactly in the year you are. oh, it's march. oh, it's april. etc etc

but if you put the day first, it's worthless. it's all

her boyfriend is an excellent photographer, and there are a lot more pictures of me but my teeth look so, so bad you wouldn't believe it. i'm getting something done! anyway, i thought i would post this despite it's blurriness (he was quite drunk by that point) and it's obvious focus on hollie, not me, hah!, because i think it's probably the most off-guard and genuinely happy picture i have seen of me, despite my fat face and too-long hair. and i rarely post pictures from below my shouders or smiling properly. wooh!

Some types of snakes are communal, some aren't. 3 is the lowest number of snakes I've had in years...but back when I had several, they always got seperate setups. It's just not worth the risk. "Pinkerton" in particular...that guy was pricey. He's a "Blizzard" Corn Snake...I bought him has a 9" hatchling 4 years ago for $55. He's now 4 1/2 feet long. Plus he freakin' Pink mang, c'mon. How cool is that?

Oh yeah...Carl is about a foot and a half, I've had him since 2001. And Baxter is always curled up in a ball, so it's hard to measure him, but I'd venture a guess of 2'. He was a big of a rescue operation. His old owner couldn't get him to eat for 6 months, and heard of my reptiles, so he was given to me, setup and all.

I got him to eat in two weeks :)

Yep, the Corn is the Albino. He's got a light sort of milky Pink coloration, hence the name "Pinkerton." They get to about 6' or so, and he's at 4 1/2'. He's got a bit to go, but he's by no means a baby.

I started out with Garter snakes. I would suggest those as a good beginner snake. They're hearty, eat a wide variety of stuff, easy to take care of, don't get too huge, and tame down very nice. I had one that would follow me around the house. :)

The mice thing can be tough. I've been feeding mice to my snakes since I was in grade school, but my girlfriend still get's a little "awww" when I happen to feed a "cute" one to 'em. I don't blame her....but that's life, they've gotta eat.

Bahamas...I took a week off and went for my bday. First few days alone and then my girlies met me up for the weekend.
